Broiled Tilapia with Sesame and Soy

INGREDIENTS:

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 Tablespoon sesame oil

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

3 Tablespoons fresh orange juice

4 Tilapia fillets (5-6 oz. each)

1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds, for serving

1 scallion (white and light green parts), thinly slice, for serving

PREPARATION:

In a shallow bowl or pie plate, whisk together the first five ingredients listed. Add the tilapia one-by-one into the mixture, turning to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.  Position an oven rack 5-6 inches from heat. Preheat boiler to high. Remove the fillets from the marinade and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Broil approx. 5 minutes each side until flaky and opaque. Serve with the sesame seeds and scallion.
