Broiled Tilapia with Sesame and Soy

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 Tablespoon sesame oil

1/3-cup low sodium soy sauce

1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic

3 Tablespoons fresh orange juice

4 tilapia fillets (5 or 6 ounces each) 

1-2 teapoons sesame seeds; for serving

1 scallion (white and light green parts) thinly sliced, for serving

Directions:

1. In a shallow bowl or pie plate, whisk together the ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and orange juice.  Add the tilapia, turning to coat all over with the marinade. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes

2. Position an oven rack 5-6 inches from heat. Preheat the broiler to high.

3. Remove the fillets from the marinade and place on a rimmed baking sheet.  Broil the fish for 5 minutes per side, until flaky and opaque. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds and scallion.
